Jungle Jewel Exotics is a home-based business in southwest Calgary, Alberta, founded by Lucas and Dawn and focused on preserving the amphibian and reptile hobby in Western Canada. The operation works with over 35 species and morphs of dart frogs, plus several dwarf day gecko varieties. The isopod and springtail section supplies cleanup-crew cultures — dwarf whites, powder blues, dairy cows, orange Porcellio, Armadillidium gestroi, and tropical springtails — along with substrates, biochar, calcium clay, and isopod food mixes. Shipping runs year-round via Canada Post, with heat packs and insulation during winter. Local pickup is available by appointment in Calgary.
