Notes

Entomo Farms, founded in 2014 by the Goldin brothers, operates a 60,000-square-foot facility in Norwood, Ontario, and is widely regarded as North America's largest insect farm producing for human consumption. The company raises over 10 million crickets per week in free-range 'cricket condos,' processing them into cricket powder, whole roasted crickets, and mealworm-based products. The facility supplies ingredients to food companies worldwide, including Loblaw's President's Choice brand. Entomo Farms also produces cricket-based pet food ingredients. The operation is committed to sustainability, recycling cricket frass as organic fertiliser.
